The AQUIS 500 series can be used wherever a compact on-site transmitter/controller is required. Since the front of the AQUIS 500 contains the entire electronics, it can also be used in the classic switchgear cabinet construction (built into the cabinet door). Measurements for the first principle variable and temperature can be displayed in numerical or bar graph format. A trend indicator provides information on the rate of alteration of the present measurement which helps the user to evaluate settling processes in the system. The background-lit display and plain-text messages allow for operation practically without an operating manual. A commissioning assistant facilitates programming tasks and guides the user through the most important menus. Programming errors are practically a thing of the past! Several operator languages have been integrated or can be loaded through an optional setup program. A generous membrane keypad makes it easier to navigate through the plain-text menus.
